Hood in synthetic fabric (polyester) coated with PVC, applied to the mask in the perimeter area of the visor and in the perimeter area of the inhalation fitting group, for protection from soiling. The C607 MD full face gas mask differs from the corresponding basic model only for the additional presence of the hood coupled to the face piece. This version was created for particularly dirty applications with the presence of solid or liquid substances, not dangerous for safety
and for the user’s health, for which it is however necessary to cover the entire head. The MD hood, falling freely on the shoulders, does not offer any additional gas protection to the mask. The hood mounted on the C607 MD full face mask is not suitable for protection against dangerous liquid chemicals For specific protective needs such as anti-gas or toxic or noxious chemicals that by their nature or concentration are dangerous for health and safety of the user requires the use of appropriate chemical clothing or overalls. The hooded mask is not suitable for use in the environment or for types of processing where there is a risk of exposure to flame.
For use with dust, gas and combined filters equipped with EN 148/1 threaded connection and in the SP / A versions for overpressure, with breathing air supply devices (with EN 148/3 connection). Available in EPDM and silicone.
